Type DWBFJ-BF bifurcated fan is designed according to EN 14986 and EN 13463-1 standards. The product is certified for installation in Zone 1 and Zone 2 for gas environment, Zone 21 and Zone 22 for dust environment.
It specially applies to Oil & Gas, Offshore Platform, Chemical,Petrochemical, Refinery and Marine Industries etc. Type DWBFJ-BF bifurcated fan has stainless steel or carbon steel material case fitted with stainless steel, aluminum or sheet molding compound (SMC) which is
also called glass-fiber reinforced polyester (GRP) material impeller. The fan is driven directly by an ATEX certified motor. The motor is installed and operated in a separate compartment where the air way is split and the motor is isolated from the system air stream. Thisprotects the motor and makes it possible for the fan to handle with higher air temperatures.
The Ex d motors are equipped with PTC thermistors for optimum motor protection. Three phase , IP55 or IP65, insulation class F, can be frequency conversion motor.
For motors provided with PTC posistor sensors that should be connected to the protection system, the type of sensor should be specified by the customer/electrician.
Type DWBFJ-BF bifurcated fan is used for the purpose of industrial ventilation, cooling and exhausting etc. especially in the atmospheres unfavorable to the life of the fan motor.
